Electonic Newsletter
WISE keeps it members well informed about current events, publications and developments in women's studies via the WISE Women's Newsletter. Recurring features are Wise news, Country and division reports, Women's studies on line, Wise women in print and the Bulletin board.
Once a year WISE publishes a thematic yearbook.

Electronic discussion list
WISE has launched and runs WISE-L, the first European women's studies discussion list. To join it send the message SUB WISE-L YOUR NAME to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.FUNET.FI. The WISE-L archives can be found on: http://www.listserv.funet.fi/archives/wise-l.html

European Journal of Women's Studies (EJWS)
WISE offers its members the scholarly quarterly, the European Journal of Women's Studies, which brings together theoretical and empirical articles. EJWS was launched in 1994 by WISE and the Dutch women's studies association.

Publications
WISE has published, among other things, guides to fundraising for women's studies, and guides containing information on women's studies throughout Europe.

Advice and information
WISE, thanks to its considerable expertise on women's studies in Europe, responds to numerous queries both from its members and from other individuals and institutions.

Networking
WISE provides national and international contacts for numerous European projects through international conferences and networking directories.

Monitoring European Women's Studies
WISE monitors the position of women's studies in Europa. The focus is on the institutionalization of women's studies and the development and implementation of the Bachelor-Master structure.

Science Policy
WISE carries out lobbying work for EU programs to include women's studies in EU science policy and for Women in Science in general.

International cooperation
WISE has been instrumental in the creation and development of the Worldwide Organization of Women's Studies (WOWS).
